What to Expect
Visiting any church for the very first time can make anyone a little nervous. Where do I go? What do I wear? What time do I show up? What’s here for my children? What can I expect? These and many more questions can come to your mind. Your first visit to Blessed Hope Baptist Church will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience friendly people, inspiring music, helpful preaching and teaching, and a place where you feel welcome and “at home!” Here are a few answers to your questions about what you might expect on your first visit.
What’s the morning schedule?
Our Sunday morning service begins at 11:00. (This service is a little over one hour in length.) If you can make it an hour earlier, we also have a complete Sunday School program for all ages each Sunday morning 10:00-10:45. Following the morning worship service, Pastor Freeland would like to personally greet you and thank you for visiting Blessed Hope Baptist Church.
Where do I take my children?
Starting with our nursery, there is something special for every age child. At every service there are nurseries for children three years old and under. For children four years old through the fifth grade there is a fun, friendly, and Bible-centered class available.
How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at Blessed Hope Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in a more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Blessed Hope Baptist!
Do I have to participate in the offering?
No. We do not invite you to Blessed Hope Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word, and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
