Pastor Joshua Freeland grew up in Frederick, Maryland. He went to church for his entire life and received Christ as his Saviour on a Wednesday evening service when he was seven years old.

In 2010 at the age of 14 he surrendered to full time Christian service and a year later was called to preach. He recieved ministry training from Commonwealth Baptist College in Lexington, KY. He graduated in 2017. While in college he met his future wife Kristina (from PA) and they were married in 2016.

After graduating college, he accepted the call to pastor Faith Bible Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, KY. He served there from September 2017-May 2018. In May, an opportunity arose to merge with Blessed Hope Baptist Church which was in need of a pastor.

Josh Freeland accepted the call to pastor Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Frankfort, KY, where he and his wife currently serve.
